Circle of Sisterhood Fundraiser at Kate Spade

Purses and shoes and jewelry, Oh My! Sigma Kappas were in Kate Spade heaven this past Wednesday evening as members, alumnae, family and friends shopped at the Kate Spade store on the Country Club Plaza to help raise funds for Circle of Sisterhood. We would like to thank everyone at the store for being so helpful in making this event possible! Women who attended the event were offered a 15% discount on their purchases with 10% of proceeds going to Circle of Sisterhood. Check back later to see just how much we raised!!

This fundraiser is our kick-off event in a campaign to raise funds and awareness for Circle of Sisterhood at the University of Kansas. On August 25th, we will be hosting the first annual Jayhawk Sorority Walk where women of Greek organizations will walk in a "Circle," representing our Circle of Sisterhood at KU, to raise additional funds. We cannot wait to see our Greek community come together for this event! All of our fundraising efforts will lead up to a visit on September 20th from our Sigma Kappa sister and Circle of Sisterhood volunteer, Julie Drury, who will speak to our community about Circle of Sisterhood! 

We are so excited about what the next few months hold for Xi Chapter and are even more excited to hopefully see a positive impact made from our upcoming events! We will be blogging about each of our Circle of Sisterhood events this semester and are looking forward to sharing more stories and pictures with you soon!
